HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOU?

To book an appointment follow the link https://leahlikesskin.glossgenius.com/ or visit my service page to access the link to book. Before your appointment will be accepted, you will need to send over (via email) a detailed description of the tattoo you are interested in getting, along with the desired location on your body, approximate size in inches, and any reference photos you might have. Please include anything specific such as names, dates, flowers, ect. The more detail the better.

*Emails may take up to 7 days to get a response so please be patient.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes, a non refundable deposit is required to hold your appointment spot.

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

Appointments can be rescheduled once provided a 48 hour notice is given. Deposits will be transferred one time. If you reschedule less than 48 hours in advance to your appointment your deposit will not transfer, you will be required to pay another one.

*Failure to provide sufficient notice or no showing your appointment will mean your deposit is forfeited and you will be charged a cancelation fee of 50% of your service. Please send an email and text message for any cancellations or reschedules.

CAN I SEE MY DESIGN BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

I try my best to get designs done the week before your appointment. Sometimes they are drawn the night before. Because of this, I do not usually send out designs in advance. Any small changes that need to be made can be made together the day of. Please be aware your appointment and deposit is for the design agreed. If you would like to make changes to your original design idea before your appointment, please get that information to me as soon as possible. Any big changes in design may result in a decline/need to reschedule your appointment.

WHATS YOUR PRICING?

A rough guide is I charge 150 per hour with a 150 minimum. Please check out my booking site for examples of pricing via size of your tattoo. Please note this is just a rough estimate, prices may vary due to complexity of a design, location, and size. All prices listed are starting points and may increase at artists discretion.


WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Prior to your appointment you will receive a pre/post care email. Please check your spam folder as well for this. Please review the email throughly, and reach out with any questions.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

Guests (one max) are allowed although I advise coming to your appointment alone, ready to relax. My studio is very small, so guests will have to wait in the waiting room. I work best in a calm, quiet setting with minimal conversation so I can focus. Please bring headphones or a book for entertainment.

*Minors under the age of 16 are not allowed in the studio.

HOW CAN I PAY?

Please make payment via cash, apple pay, Venmo, or credit/debit card. (Preferred methods in that order) credit cards, venmo, and Apple pay will include a service fee.

DO YOU TATTOO IN COLOR?

At this time, I mostly only do black work, with the exception of a very limited selection of colors to offer like red and other primary colors.

DO YOU DO COVERUPS?

At this time, I do not offer cover ups or touch up other artists work.

WHAT PLACEMENTS DO YOU NOT DO?

I will not tattoo sides of fingers/hands or palms, face, mouth, genital areas, bottoms/sides of feet.

Placements I advise against are ribs and stomach

Placements I love are arms, legs, back, spine, neck, fingers.

WHAT ABOUT APPOINTMENT ETIQUETTE?

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment and no later than 15 minutes late. Late arrivals will be considered a no show and will need to be rescheduled/ lose their deposit.

If you need to reschedule or cancel you are asked to provide 48 hour notice. Once reschedule per deposit.

Please refrain from using numbing cream.

Please bring a valid form of ID.

You may not get a tattoo if you are pregnant or nursing.

You must be 18+ to be tattooed in NC state.

No shows will be charged 50% of their anticipated appointment cost.

TATTOO PRE CARE

Drink plenty of water before your appointment and make sure to eat.

Moisturize the area to be tattooed the week before the appointment but not day of.

Wear appropriate clothing to your appointment for your placement, i.e short sleeve for arm tattoos, or shorts for legs. Dark/ neutral colored clothing is preferred.

Do not consume alcohol or blood thinning medication prior to the appointment / the night before.

TATTOO AFTERCARE

You will leave with second skin bandage on your new tattoo. Please leave this on for 3-5 days and follow directions on how to remove. Warm water and soap work best.

Wash new tattoo 3x a day with a fragrance free antibacterial soap and pat dry.

Apply a tattoo ointment such as Mad rabbit soothing gel, hustle butter or lubriderm. I do not recommend aquaphor. I will have Mad rabbit products for sale in shop at a discounted price.

Do not pick or itch the tattoo. Do not submerge tattoo in any form of water for 4 weeks. No direct sunlight or tanning for 6 weeks. Always apply spf to your tattoo when in the sun or outside.

Keep tattoo very moisturized for the 2 weeks after your appointment or until fully healed. Most tattoos heal within a 2-6 week time frame.

Schedule a touch up within 4-6 weeks if needed.
